Our Story
How a Mexican girl met a German guy?
In 2018, Adriana and Ingo, both driven by a desire to see more of the world than just through travel, set out on life-changing journeys to pursue their Master's degrees abroad.
Adriana, inspired by a small sign at the back of an educational exhibition, felt a spark of curiosity about a school called "Dublin Business School". Not knowing much about this island, but with a strong calling in her heart, she decided to investigate further. Six months later, Adriana boarded a plane to Europe and moved to Ireland.
Meanwhile, Ingo, eager for a new adventure, was searching for the perfect city to continue his studies. After researching different options, his journey also led him to Dublin, in fact to the same Business School, setting the stage for a fateful encounter.
Their first weeks in Ireland were filled with the excitement of exploring new places and making new friendships. Fate brought them together at a mutual friend's birthday party, where they instantly connected over a lively conversation. Their first topic of choice, of course, was about Mexican food and Irish beer. This serendipitous meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful story.

Although Ingo initially planned to stay in Dublin for only a few months, their encounter changed everything. He decided to remain in Ireland to explore their new growing relationship and that spring, after a short trip to Germany, they both acknowledged their feelings for each other. In a romantic gesture, Ingo chose Amsterdam's "Magere Brug" to ask Adriana about their future together. Legend has it that a kiss on this bridge ensures eternal love, making it the perfect spot for such a significant moment.
Over the following years, Adriana and Ingo learned much about each other, their families, and their cultures. They discovered a shared passion for nature, hiking, and camping, creating beautiful and unforgettable memories as they traveled together to Mexico and Germany. During these years, their relationship was also tested by numerous challenges, such as Adriana’s accident, the Covid years, uncertainties with work and residency permits, and eventually, a long-distance relationship when Adriana had to move to London for work.
Despite these obstacles, Ingo secured a promotion that allowed him to join Adriana in London. Their love proved resilient, and by the end of 2023, Ingo proposed during a romantic weekend getaway in Birmingham UK, unable to imagine a life without her. Adriana said yes!
